Since opening in 1974, Marine Transportation Services has been proud to serve the transportation needs of drilling interests in the Gulf of Mexico. As the saying goes, however, all good things must come to an end. We welcome you to look through our inventory of crewboats for sale. We also have spare engines and parts from decades of building and maintaining vessels at our shipyard known as Queen Craft Shipyard.

CREWBOATS FOR SALE

Currently, we have 5 crewboats for sale, ranging in sizes from 110′ to 138′. Our smaller crewboats are a 110′ crewboat with 4 engines and a 111′ crewboat with 4 engines. These two vessels were built from the same original plan and have matching cabin dimensions. Our 3 larger crewboats are two 136+’ sisterships with 4 Detroit Diesel main engines, and one 136.5′ crewboat with 4 Caterpillar engines. Fabricated from the same base plan, these 3 larger crewboats have matching hull and cabin dimensions. Our vessels are in amazing condition and were built and maintained by Queen Craft Shipyard and Engine Shop, a division of Marine Transportation Services. We constructed them and maintained them to last indefinitely. No after-market parts have been used in remanufacturing processes for these crewboats. MARINE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Ownership and leadership of Marine Transportation Services comes from the family of the late Grover Davis. As President, he and his wife, Judy, Vice President, founded MTS in 1974. Family management has expanded since then to include their two daughters, Kerrie Davis Beasley and Kimberly Davis Whitfield. Kerrie came to MTS as a CPA and Kim is a member of the Florida Bar. Since Grover’s passing, Kerrie now serves as President and Kim serves as Secretary/Treasurer. This company was built on long-term relationships with clients and employees and a commitment to superior vessels. Queen Craft Shipyard is managed by Daniel Strickland and the Engine Shop at Queen Craft Shipyard is managed by Robert Ross. We remain committed to the principles of honesty and fairness, and we will handle all sales with efficiency.

Our shipyard and engine shop inventories are also for sale. Most everything relates to the aluminum crewboats we have been operating since 1974.
